Week #155 – Summer Fun List: SPREAD\u00a0<\/strong>HAPPYNESS (and start with yourself first!)<\/b><\/p>\n

Greetings, All — and Happy Friday!!!<\/p>\n

We’ve been counting down the Fridays to Labor Day Weekend with some short “Summer Fun”<\/a> suggestions. \u00a0Because — \u00a0as I’ve said each week<\/a> — while most adults are sure to plan their kids’ summer fun, they often overlook their own!<\/p>\n

And here we are! \u00a0It’s Labor Day Weekend!<\/p>\n

Do you know where your fun went? \u00a0\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Now, before you tell me all the things that happened that STOPPED you from having fun this summer…I want you to know I understand. \u00a0We’ve had deadlines, drama, distractions, diagnosis, car troubles, work, travel, overwhelming heat, places to work, and bills to pay.<\/p>\n

But we cannot expect Happyness to come to us.<\/p>\n

It is an inside job first.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Labor Day Weekend marks the “unofficial” end of summer. \u00a0I hear many people\u00a0say “Where did the summer go?!” and “It seems like just yesterday it was Memorial Day!”<\/p>\n

But there are some who’ve racked up memories and stored away their summer fun for years to come…<\/p>\n

…and others who are\u00a0still pressing forward to scratch things off their summer bucket lists and squeeze every last drop out of the Summer of 2017!<\/p>\n

Which one are you? \u00a0Which do you want to be?<\/p>\n

Your Happyness Challenge for the Week Ahead: Spread Happyness (and start with yourself first)!!! \u00a0<\/strong>A long weekend awaits (and a possibly rainy one on the East Coast). \u00a0Is there something you wanted to do this summer that you haven’t gotten to yet? \u00a0Is there a project or day trip or promise that you made that’s nagging at you? \u00a0Make it a point to put yourself first and complete something FOR YOU this week. \u00a0We’re seeing reminders all the time of what’s truly important in this life…don’t put yourself off one more day!<\/p>\n
