Week #192 – Don’t let your dreams gather dust!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s May…and my social media newsfeed is buzzing once again with prom pictures, college acceptance announcements, graduations, post-grad certifications, and new job transitions!<\/p>\n

Dreams of all shapes and sizes are coming true…every day.<\/p>\n

(Which means it’s time to revisit an oldie but a goodie from graduation seasons past<\/a>!)<\/p>\n

It’s Graduation Season<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soon, high schoolers and college students everywhere will be leaving the safety of their nests and setting out on lives of their own making. \u00a0Graduation cards will be filled with the phrase “follow your dreams!” \u00a0But do we really mean that? \u00a0(I mean, we\u00a0must…because no graduation card ever wishes the recipient a life of quiet desperation, right?)<\/p>\n

What’s your dream?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you chasing your dreams? \u00a0Or are they gathering dust? \u00a0Do you even remember what they were? \u00a0Or\u00a0when you may have set them aside?<\/p>\n

Your Happyness Challenge for the week ahead: <\/strong>Don’t let your dreams gather dust! \u00a0<\/strong>As we celebrate the graduations and bright futures of high schoolers and college students everywhere — take a moment to remember where you were headed and who you thought you were going to be. \u00a0Are you you still on the right track? \u00a0Have you followed your dreams? \u00a0Or maybe your old dreams lead you to new dreams? \u00a0Or did life or circumstances derail you? \u00a0Don’t despair…you’ve graduated life with honors! \u00a0Put on a cap and gown, play Pomp & Circumstance, and celebrate who you are today and all that you’ve accomplished. \u00a0<\/span>Then dust off those dreams…and\u00a0set your sails for a new horizon! \u00a0Because\u00a0it’s never to late and you’re never too old. \u00a0The best\u00a0day to get started on\u00a0your dreams is TODAY!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To misquote Henry David Thoreau: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! \u00a0Live the life you imagined!”<\/p>\n
