Week #35 – \u201cMy Sunshine on this Earth\u201d (What weather best describes you?)<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had a beautiful 90-degree day this week. \u00a0The breeze out of the west was soft and warm. \u00a0And for the first time in what seemed like a long, long while — I was hot.<\/p>\n

And honestly — it felt great!<\/p>\n

I sat for a moment on my front step with the sun on my face, my shoulders, arms, hands, and bare feet. \u00a0The neighbor cat joined me and flipped himself over on the sidewalk to roll on his back and soak up the warmth through the fur on his\u00a0belly.<\/p>\n

And for a moment — I felt present.<\/p>\n

In the middle of Rob\u2019s word board there is a little tag that says, \u201cMy Sunshine on this Earth.\u201d \u00a0I totally get that. \u00a0In a world where things can be dark and cold, stormy and uncertain\u2026Rob had a way of radiating a steady, warm, and happy light. \u00a0Much like the little neighbor cat on the sidewalk\u2026we\u2019d eagerly stop everything to sit still and soak it up!<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve probably known people who darken your door, brighten your day, breeze in and out of your life, bring thunderbolts and lightning, sunshine and happiness, or rain on your parade. \u00a0There are fair-weather friends, stormy relationships, and\u2026well\u2026\u201dShall I compare thee to a summer\u2019s day?”<\/p>\n

The question is: What\u2019s the forecast for friends or relatives, coworkers or clients, when YOU come to town?<\/p>\n
