Greetings Happyness Tribe — and\u00a0welcome to week TWELVE\u00a0of our Summer Fun Challenge!<\/span><\/p>\n

WE MADE IT! \u00a0Twelve weeks ago I challenged you to “come play with me”<\/a> and make the commitment to have FUN this summer! \u00a0Each Friday — as the weeks counted down to Rob’s anniversary — we made a conscious decision to focus on FUN! \u00a0We rode the rides, walked the boards, surfed the waves, took a drive, got wet, found some quiet time, protected\u00a0family time, took a lesson, planned a meal, sat and watched, and kept our dreams flying!<\/p>\n

There’s only one thing left to do: CELEBRATE!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

This weekend will mark the one year anniversary of Rob’s death. \u00a0There are no words to describe to you what was going on in our world a year ago today…and there will be plenty of opportunity in the future to share the lessons we’ve learned since then. \u00a0Today, one thing remains certain: I believe Rob’s legacy was his natural ability to spread happiness to anyone who was lucky enough to cross his path. \u00a0And I don’t believe this ended with his death. \u00a0Whether you knew him or not, I believe his light shines through each of us…every week…each and every time we choose happyness!<\/p>\n

Your assignment for this week: “CELEBRATE!” \u00a0<\/strong>Not only have we\u00a0completed TWELVE WEEKS of Summer Fun Challenges…but together we have MADE IT through the entire year! \u00a0It is so easy to look back at what we have lost — but this week I challenge all of us (myself included) to look back at the wins\u00a0— and CELEBRATE! \u00a0Did you have FUN this summer?! \u00a0What were the highlights?! \u00a0The successes? \u00a0Are there\u00a0new and precious memories to cherish? \u00a0Did you try something new? \u00a0Learn something amazing? \u00a0Did you have a breakthrough? \u00a0Did you touch the life of another person? \u00a0Above all…did you SPREAD HAPPYNESS?!<\/span><\/p>\n

Please join with me this weekend in celebrating\u00a0the life, health, vitality, love, and friendship of the one and only Rob Church — by CELEBRATING your very own!<\/p>\n

\n– Have breakfast for dinner — or dinner for breakfast! \u00a0(Thanks, Jeannette!)
\n– Tubing down the Delaware! \u00a0(Thanks, Jenn!)
\n– “One Tank Trips”
\n– Surprise trip for spouse or loved one
\n– Kayaking
\n– Beach time
\n– BBQ’s
\n– Tourist for the day in nearby city
\n– Walking the boards
\n– Rock climbing
\n– Scuba diving
\n– Touring an estate
\n– Time with family
\n– Sitting on the porch
\n– Watching for rainbows
\n– Learning to surf
\n– Gardening
\n– Writing a book
\n– Working on a “summer” project
\n– Moving to a new town
\n– Planning a spa day (or half-day, or even lunch hour)
\n– Taking Fridays (or Mondays) off!
\n– Day at the ballpark (Minor League stadiums are great, too!)
\n– Outside concerts\/music events
\n– Hot air balloon ride\/festival
\n– Pool volleyball (a Church-family classic!)
\n– Take yourself or someone you love for ice cream!
\n<\/span>– Weed your front yard garden (and talk with neighbors and folks walking by!)
\n– Lose yourself in wonderful music, either listening or singing
\n–\u00a0Play in the grassy backyard
\n– Play with your dog (or maybe your neighbor’s dog!)
\n<\/span>– Sing karaoke
\n– Explore your town, county, state\u2026through food and drink!
\n– Visit a farm
\n– Make plans to see friends you don\u2019t often get to see (or schedule a gathering!)
\n– Blind-folded Make-overs! \u00a0(Great for a rainy day! \u00a0Bonus points if you go out in public after!)<\/p>\n
