\u00a0Week #52 – Endings and Beginnings (A big wave hello or goodbye?)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Greetings Happyness Tribe — and\u00a0welcome to WEEK 52!!!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A year ago my world changed forever. \u00a0And as friends, neighbors, colleagues, co-workers, service-providers, professionals, and other acquaintances lined up in their own distress and sadness to pay their respects…I recognized immediately that I was\u00a0not alone. \u00a0You had lost someone, too. \u00a0Rob was important to\u00a0all of us!<\/p>\n

\n

So, I pledged to deliver a little dose of him every Friday morning via this blog — along with a little challenge to keep things going. \u00a0SpreadHappyness was born because I believed Rob’s legacy was his natural ability to spread happiness to anyone who crossed his path — and I didn’t think\u00a0that had to die with him. \u00a0I wanted to carry the torch forward\u00a0— because cancer wasn’t the only thing that could spread. \u00a0I knew happiness could, too!<\/span><\/p>\n

Week #1 started with a challenge…and one of the things we all missed the most: His\u00a0BIG WAVE<\/a>\u00a0hello!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Since then we have Spread Happyness the ways he showed us how: through big hellos, nicknames, music, long drives, looking ahead, looking back, breathing fresh air, riding the wave, giving to others, focusing on fun, celebrating our achievements, and having a Rob-Church-Kinda-Year!<\/p>\n

The question is…what’s next?!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ll be honest with you — some people have told me to wrap this up. \u00a0Others have told me to make this bigger. \u00a0It’s easy for me to keep going…but this blog isn’t about me. \u00a0It’s about YOU! \u00a0All of you who loved Rob, all of you who miss him, all of you who are now just getting to know him: all of you who wish to spread a little happyness — just because he crossed your path!<\/span><\/p>\n

So\u00a0the question I’ve been pondering is this: Is this a BIG WAVE goodbye? \u00a0Or a BIG WAVE hello?<\/span><\/p>\n
