Week #95 – Hard at Work? \u00a0Stay Cool!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greetings Happyness Tribe —\u00a0and Happy Friday!<\/p>\n

A classmate of Rob’s who works for the post office put this suggestion on Facebook:\u00a0<\/span>“If you feel like doing something nice today, leave a bottle of cold water for your mailman\/lady\ud83c\udf1e”. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>I thought that was a pretty cool idea — and a super easy way to Spread Happyness!<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>And then I got to\u00a0thinking — what are some other “cool” gestures that could Spread a little Happyness to the casual connections\u00a0in our lives?<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The winter holidays are a natural time to leave a little something for your mail carrier, doorman, landscaper, bank teller, stylist, or garbageman\/woman.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>But what about the rest of the year? \u00a0<\/span>Especially during the height of summer when it’s hot, stinky, overcrowded — or maybe even a little slow?<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Your Happyness Challenge for the Week Ahead:\u00a0Help someone else stay cool!<\/strong> \u00a0Leave some cold water for your mail carrier. \u00a0Provide an umbrella or pop-up tent for someone working in your yard. \u00a0Bring some good old fashioned ice cream sandwiches or novelties to your bank, stylist, mechanic, or coworkers. \u00a0Offer to make that 4 o’clock frappucino run!<\/span>
